Cant contain myself! SCRAPPING!

Ok so went shopping today to get supplies for Kaitlyn's birthday album. I spent way to much time in Michaels looking over everything I wanted. So hard deciding, BUT I did make it out and here is a sneek peek at what I have to work with. My friend Nicole's son is having a birthday weekend so while the boys are out doing their thing we will be in pj's working on our pages and albums as long as our eyeballs let us...hehe!

Craft Room Concept

Im sitting here at 2:45 am looking at some of the most creative blogs and totally inspired to work on my own ideas. If it wasnt for my back feeling like its about to go out and my eyes feeling like sandpaper, I probably would be tinkering around in my craft room. My room was designed to draw inspiration from it, but of late (due to RL aggro) I have not worked in my "dream bubble" for many many months. So I've been cleaning out, replacing, reorganizing, and rebuilding what is important to me and what I want from my space. I figure the more I talk about it and more peeps know about what I do then the guilt will hopefully set in to get my creativity going! LOL Im long over due for some moments of true bliss! Im itching to make dolls, scrapbooking, and sewing up quilts. So get your pom poms out and cheer me on, I NEED IT!!!

One Year Anniversary!!!

LOL...How sad is that to have such high hopes for your blog that you realize that your last post was one year to date! Everytime I look at my girlfriends blog I get all motivated to do it myself and look how fast I moved....NOT! Soooo, today's post is in celebration of renewed hope to getting this up and running and seeing some changes because boy has there been.

This was our visit to the San Diego Tide Pools during spring break. Thanks to Auntie and Uncle Mark for a great visit! Kids had a blast and Austin handled his spill into the tide without a tear. Saw some amazing things that day that we take for granted.

In HONOR of Denise...

After spending 2 HOURS in line for a copy of my daughters birth certificate I was ready to go home and do NOTHING. BUT wait, what do I find as I walk up the stairs? Every mom's nightmare! ><


Dear Denise,
I feel your laundry pain you spoke of last week and the ongoing washing/dryer machine. Its the viscous cycle and no matter how many times you want to make yourself and child were that dirty shirt, it just seems to keep going, going, and going. Darn me for letting go of my Fairy godmother due to retirement.

In the Beginning...

Ive been wanting to start a blog forever and just never took the time to look into it. I was afraid it would be another “thing” to maintain and not feel creative enough to establish a cool blog. BUT, my friend Nicole encouraged me to get something going and just try it, coming from the “amazingly talented” girl. She just wiggles her finger and out comes the cutest crafts. Anyway, So with all the small talk over, HERE I AM!
I will be covering creative moments and non-creative moments on my blog and showing off my creative out comes. I LOVE sewing! I make quilts, dolls, embroidary, and scrappingbooking! Anything else I can get my hands on will be listed too! I love collecting small vintage items which is a room full of treasures to me.
